As we remember those who fought and died for us on this Memorial Day, let us also remember much of the reason for their sacrifice: our right to vote. For the millions in Texas who are registered to vote, they will get their chance tomorrow to vote in a much-delayed but still important primary. Due to the delays, some observers fear a much lower turnout for a state that already ranks among the lowest in participation among states in a country that is already relatively apathetic compared to most democracies of our time. If you’re registered in Texas, be sure to vote tomorrow. Let’s remember the sacrifices our heroes made this election season and get our voices heard.
Memorial Day should remind Texas voters to go to the polls tomorrow
